While we were bike-riding through the forest to Bergen op Zoom, we found this wonderfull
smal lake in the woods. On the picture you see my wife, on her new electric bike. Later
on we stopped at a restaurant and had a nice cool drink. It is nice to ride a bike on the
narrow roads through the woods.
Biking in the woods.
I am so happy we live here and not in the big city anymore..

The weather is perfect and because of the holiday season there are
no trafficjams so it is a good day to ride to work.
Today and yesterday I had to work in Woerden and both days I went
there on my BMW.
The bike and the handlebar mounted camera.
On my way home I took the scenic route and shot some video with
the Fuji HD camera that I have mounted on my handlebars. After I
have edited the raw video, it will be shown on
www.regiorit.nl in a few days.

My wife and youngest son are going to Amsterdam today and I go for a ride with my "new" BMW.
After visiting a big motorcycleshop in Goes, I went over the five kilometer long Zeelandbridge to Zierikzee
and from Zierikzee I went to the Isle "Neeltje Jans", a famous part of the "Deltaworks" that protect Zeeland
against the sea.
The Nobel Gate in Zierikzee, a city gate with two towers.
After taking some pictures at Neetje Jans I went home again. I had a very nice ride today.

Friday is the start of my weekend and today I got on the BMW for a short ride into
Belgium.
In the harbour area of Antwerp, I noticed thet my odometer was on the same numbers
as that of the CB400T on March 22 this year, 22222 km.
My beautiful yellow BMW in the harbour area of Antwerp.
On this trip I tried a EnVivo Action Video Camera mounted on a RAM Mount on the handlebars
of the BMW but unfortunately, the vibration of the big boxer engine made the picture very blurry.

Today I spend my day at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a nice
green area with office buildings and big parking-garages.
Here I worked today, in the building in the center of the picture.

This afternoon, we arrived home after seing my new grandson and after dinner we
went to "Gebouw-T" in Bergen op Zoom for a concert of "The Vision of Johanna".
Virgil, a friend of us, plays the guitar in this band so we wanted to see him play.

Yes, I have the BMW R1100GS in my garage ! .
This afternoon, one of my sons drove me to Roosendaal to pick up the BMW that I bought
last month. It had a new front tire fitted and the Tomtom is mounted on the handlebars
and connected to the battery.
After the paperwork to get ownership on my name I took the long way home and enjoyed
the sound of the big boxer engine.

This afternoon, while I was "lunchwalking" with some collegues in Eindhoven, my oldest
son called me that my fourth grandchild was born. It is a boy and his name is Jelte
Jonathan .
Fortunately I could get a few hours away from work so, together with my wife, I went to the
hospital in Ede to see my new grandson.
My new grandson.
It is a beautiful little boy and he and his mother are doing well.

This weekend we went to Friesland to attend a wedding of a nephew on Friday.
It was a nice weddingparty that lasted until early Saturdaymorning.
On Saturday we visited Aqua Zoo and Drachten and on Sunday we went to
my parents birthdayparty.
Sundaymorning, before we left the hotel, my daughters boyfriend asked her to
marry him and she said yes. So now they are engaged.
A happy family on the "Afsluitdijk".
On my parents birthdayparty I had the opportunity to announce their engagement.

Today I worked in one of the highest buildings in the Netherlands,
the 151 meter high "Delftse Poort" building.
The view from the 31th floor
The view over Rotterdam is spectacular. I could see the planes
taking off and landing on Rotterdam Airport.

Today was a very sad day. I was shocked when I got the phonecall
that my uncle and very good friend Wim, had a fatal motorcycle
accident while riding his Harley near his home in South Africa.
He was the one that teached me riding and maintaining my motorcycle
and when he and my aunt lived in the Netherlands, I spend a lot of
time at their home, talking and having fun.
When they moved to a farm in England, I visited them several times
and I went to South Africa twice and when I was in South Africa,
he let me use his Harley.
He loved riding his Harley Lowrider on the beautiful roads in South
Africa and died doing what he loved but I will miss him and my
thoughts are with my aunt and their sons who will miss him much more.
