Some time after the last shop in the little village Woensdrecht closed,
some volunteers started a foundation to start a small shop and community
centre, completely run by volunteers.
After about ten years, the original founder of the foundation retired and
people where afraid the shop and community centre would have to close.
My wife did not want this to happen so with a few other people (including
me), she started a new foundation to continue the work in Woensdrecht.
Todat it was officialy announced that my wife from Januari 1th 2024,
would take over the work of the original founder.

November 28, 2023
Today I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht for the new odometer cable.
Toget to the odometer to attach the cable took a lot of work. Many
parts had to be removed to get to the connector.

Unfortunately, when I parked the bike in my garage, I found out that
the cable was to short so I wenr back to Ossendrecht and John will
order a new, longer, cable.

November 25, 2023
because the odometer cable of the Goldwing was broken, I wanted to
go to Motorservice Ossendrecht a few days ago to get the new cable
that I had ordered.
Unfortunately, the Goldwing did not start so I put the battery on the
charger.

After two days on the charger, the bike started rightaway. No
problem.
Today John did not have the time to mount the new cable so I'll
come back later.

The odometer cable of the Goldwing was broken so I took the BMW to go
to church in Goes this morning.
After church, I took the scenic route home.

November 4, 2023
Today was the opening of the exposition “C’est la vie” that I helped
to build. It was a wet ride in the rain but fortunately my raingear
is doing what it is supposed to to, keeping me dry.
After the official opening there was snacks, drinks and live music.

Later I rode to Kalmthout for a visit at the photo exhibition of the
Royal Kalmthout Photo association before I went home.

With my friend Dick, I went to the BigTwin Bikeshow in Houten.
We saw lots of nice Harley choppers, bobbers, baggers and a lot of
other nice bikes like customized BMW's, Royal Enfields and a very
nice Yamaha 650 XS1 Scrambler.
