We had to go to Breda, to buy some things my wife needed and to pick up
some parts for our cupboards, at the IKEA in Breda.
While we were in Breda, we also visited the 'Begijnhof museum', a beguinage.
(A beguinage, from the French term beguinage, is an architectural
complex which was created to house beguines: lay religious women who
lived in community without taking vows or retiring from the world.).
It was interesting to see how those ladies lived for many generations over
a period of 700 years.

This evening, we went to the cabaret show 'Het liefdes college'
(the love college) from Renate Reijnders in Theater Kloosterhof.
It was a very funny and entertaining show.

January 16, 2020,
Yesterday, I got my new rear tyre on the BMW and today I went back to
Motorservice Ossendrecht for my new front tyre.

With new tyres, I went to Motoport, a big motorcycle shop in Goes,
just for the ride. I had a coffee and checked out the bikes in the
showroom and went home again.
The bike is riding 100% better with those new Michelin tyres.

My BMW R850R had been in the garage for almost two months. Bad weather,
no time, to busy...... but today I had some time to spend and the
weather was nice so I got the bike from the garage and went for a
short ride.
First I took the freeway in the direction of Zeeland and after
twenty minutes, I left the freeway and took the secondary road, the
N289, back home.

January 12, 2020,
Yesterday, one of my sons got his new compact camera and I bought his
old Sony camera. Today I drove to the Oesterdam in Zeeland to take a
few pictures with my 'new' camera. Next to the Oesterdam, a whole lot
of kitesurfers where active so it was a nice spot to take some pictures.

My friend Dick and I went to the Classic motorcycle- and moped fair
in the 'Autotron' in Rosmalen. Dick picked me up at my house and we
drove a little more then an hour to Rosmalen and parked the car at
the big parking at the Autotron.
After a cup of coffee, we went into the main hall of the fair.

Unfortunately for us, 70 % of the exhibitors had mopeds and moped parts
but the 30% tools, motorcycles and motorcycle parts made the trip
worthwhile for us anyway.
We enjoyed checking out all the stalls with parts accessoires, tools
and other merchandise and some very nice classic motorcycles.
