Today we went to de ZOO in Planckendael near Mechelen in Belgium. It was about zero
degrees Celcius but it was nice weather to walk and to take pictures of the animals.

Unfortunately, due to the cold weather, most animals where inside. Fortunately the
restaurant was open so we had hot chocolat and pancakes.

Saturday afternoon, my oldest son had his first performance with
his new band, "Make Up Your Mind". We thought it would be nice to
surprise him, so we went to Barneveld, an hour and a half riding,
to see him play.

It was worth the trip because I think this is by far the best
band he ever played in and we had a very nice evening.

Yesterday I got the GoldWing back after it's maintenance at Motorservice Ossendrecht.
. It is running fine now. The corneringlights are connected and the damaged
frontdiskcovers are replaced with brand new covers.

This morning I went for a ride in Zeeland. It is very nice weather for the time of the year
and I enjoyed my ride..

This morning I bought the January issue of Bigtwin bike magazine
at the gasstation. My article about the American Day in Lepelstraat
was in this issue.

I like it that they used the picture of my GoldWing next to the
Peterbild truck in the rain. It's nice to see my GoldWing in
a Harley magazine .

Januari 1, 2012
This morning I made my traditional first trip of year ride on the CB400T. The GoldWing is in
the bikeshop but the CB400T is a nice bike. On the Oesterdam in Zeeland, I stopped for
some pictures and then I went home again.

I could have gone on for hours. The bike runs fine, it is a little rainy but it is not cold (
I think it is almost 10 degrees Celcius) and it feels so very good to be in the wind
again.
