Today I helped my friend Suzana Jovanovic to build the art exposition
she has together with fellow artists Henk G. Nolten, José van der Wegen
and Magda Bastiaanse in Expog on the Antwerpsesteenweg 2 in Kapellen in
Belgium.

After a ride to Motorservice Ossendrecht, to put another bike on the
Facebook page, I rode via the viewpoint in Woensdrecht to the communitycafé
where my wife is a volunteer.

This morning I went to the 'Bergse Cultuur Festival' a cultural
festival in Theater Den Enghel in Bergen op Zoom, organised by
my friend Sonn Franken.
In the evening, my wife and I went to the Kloosterhof Theater in
Hoogerheide for the show ‘Ode aan Jan Rot’ with an special surprise
because two of the children of the late Jan Rot (singer and songwriter),
Wolf and Elvis, participated in the show.

After a morning at the gym, I used the afternoon to apply the final
layer of paint on my garage door.
My garage door is now green and ready for the winter.

October 7, 2023
Some time ago I asked for a quote for an electric garage door, but the
first quote was far too expensive so I emailed about it and they said I
would receive another quote.
I waited a few weeks for that, sent an email twice and now I was fed up
and I'm going to paint the old door. I sanded everything today and already
primed the door once. I will finish it next week..

Today we went to the 'Wereldmuseum' at the Willemskade in Rotterdam.
I did not like to go to the center of Rotterdam by car because the last
time I went to Rotterdam by car, it took me an hour and a half to get
from the outskirds of the city to the center.
This time we drove to De Schans in Ridderkerk and took the waterbus to
Rotterdam and we disembarked near the Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam.

After our visit to the museum, we went back to Ridderkerk by waterbus and
drove to our youngest sons house in Ridderkerk for a coffee.

After running errands in Putte, I took the long way home, through
Belgium, past Kalmthout. At the WWII canon in Kalmthout I stopped
to take a picture.
