Today I went for a nice ride. First I went to Goes to Motoport, the
big motorcycle shop. After checking out the nice bikes I got on the
Goldwing again and from Motoport I rode through Goes, via the
railroad crossing to Kattendijke.

Through Kattendijke I rode to the dyke along the Oosterschelde and over
the dyke past Wemeldinge to Yerseke and the back home via the
Westerschelde dyke.

During my covid quarantaine I had my birthday but nobody could
come but now I am healthy again and the last few days I had
family visiting for my birthday.
One of the presents I got was a LEGO motorcycle. My grandkids
told that the bike looked like my Goldwing with the fairing
and the panniers and the minifig with its black vest and
moustance looked like me.

I had been in quarantaine because of covid for a few days but I
am healthy now and today I enjoyed riding my Goldwing again.
I needed a picture of the Sint Jozefskapel in Brasschaat in Belgium
for an article on our newssite so I typed the address in the Tomtom
GPS and went there. It was a nice ride.

After taking some photos at the chapel, I rode to Bergen op Zoom
for some photos for another article and then I went home again.
It felt so good to ride again!

A few days ago, I tested positive for covid-19. I was ill and
stayed in bed for a few days.
I'm still not 100% better but now I have energy enough to do some
small tasks. One of them is to fix the remote for the TV in our
bedroom. I took it apart, cleaned it and put it back together and
now it functions again like it should.

There is a lot going on with farmers who have the risk to loose their
farms that are in the family for generations because of enviromental
rules of the government.
Understandable there is a lot of protest and yesterday there was a protest
manifestation at the townhal in Hoogerheide and today the farmers went to
the townhall in Bergen op Zoom with their tractors.
Unlike some other actions in the country, these actions were peaceful and
without problems.

I had to write an article about an art exhibition in a 'sculpture garden'
of a sculptress in Halsteren. There where six artists showing their art.
It was time for a motorbike ride so I got the Goldwing from the garage
and had a nice ride to Halsteren.
After my ride to Halsteren I went to Bergen op Zoom for another article,
this time about an art exhibition at Galery Arsis so it was really an
'art-ride' today .
