Today Vincent and I did some recording voor Motormobilist video's at
the Ducati 'Life Experience' at Motorport in Goes, Vincent did a
testride on a Ducati Scrambler and I did a testride on a Ducati Diavel V4.
Unfortunately I had an awful lot of rain while I was riding the 168 hp
strong Diavel V4.
In the coming weeks the video's will be on our channel so if you subscribe
to our Motormobilist

Our youngest son was having his birthday and the weather was very nice
so one of my other sons asked me if I fancied a motorcycle ride to
the birthday.
It was nice to ride together after a long time and we enjoyed it
very much. Also it was good to get some kilometyers on the BMW GS
because standing still is no good for a motorcycle (and it is still
for sale).

Last week, with Han visiting from South Africa, I had no time to make
a Motormobilist video so today I went to the Tractor Museum in Nisse
on the Goldwing to make a new Motormobilist video for next friday.
It was a nice ride and a nice museum and afterwards I went to Motoport
in Goes to check out some bikes before I went home.

This Sunday evening I got my BMW back from Motorservice Ossendrecht
because John is on holiday and I want to be able to sell the BMW
when I have a buyer.
Fortunately Johns father and Johns son were able to help me get
the bike from the showroom so the BMW and the Goldwing are both in
my garage now.

This Saturday, my wife and I went to Steenbergen to see a coffee
and tea museum but it closed early, just when we arrived.
Fortunately we found a very nice coffee shop
"Chocolat"
where we had a very very nice coffee with cake.
After our coffee break, we visited the St. Gummarus church in
Steenbergen. Very interesting!

Wednesday August 2th, my aunt from South Africa arrived on Schiphol
and today, I drove her back to Schiphol after she visited some
relatives this week and stayed at our house for a few days.

Today our Opel Corsa was declared a totel loss. After some problems
with the cooling system, the headgasket was blown and the repair
was more expensive then the value of the car.

August 6, 2023
My friend Frans invired me to join him on a trip to the North of
France to try to shoot 300 meter with a .22lr rifle.
We left home at five in the morning and at ten o'clock we were
at the shooting range.
We spend the whole day there and finaly both succeded to hit
a steel plate at 300 meter.

Since a few days we have a new cat. My wife called him Bowie because
he has to different colored eyes, like the singer David Bowie.
