The weather was very nice today so I made a short trip on the
Honda 400. On my way home, I noticed that my speedometer did not
work. Then I saw that the cable was broken so I have to get a
new speedo cable.
Never mind, it was a nice ride anyway.

For the 16th time, the UCI World Cup Cycle-Cross was in Hoogerheide.
Because one of my sons was a volunteer for the organisation, I got
a free entrance ticket and together with my son, I watched the
Elite race, that was won by the Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel.

The sun was shining bright this morning so I went for a ride on the
CB400T. On my way to Ossendrecht, I could smell stink of styrene, the
result of a collision between to tankers on the Westerschelde,
yesterday evening.

I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht for a coffee and a chat and I
enjoyed riding in the sunshine. With four degrees Celcius, it was
not to cold

I changed my look a bit. First I shaved my beard. I did not plan to
do that but when I tried to trim it in a different shape, it looked
silly so I shaved it off completely and now I will let it grow again.
The other change are my glasses. I have new glasses and next to that,
I also have "reading and computer screen" glasses.

The new glasses are almost the same as I had before but the reading
glasses are great. Now I can read a book or magazine that is more
than ten centimeter from my face........

Together with a friend, I went to the oldtimer motorcycle and scooter
fair in Rosmalen. We wanted to look for some information about his
Enfield India restoration project and I wanted some info about my
"classic" Honda's.

It was very crowded. The traffic jam to the entrance started on the
freeway, far before the exit to Rosmalen but it was worth the ride
and we enjoyed it very much.

With our daughter, son in law, granddaughter and one of our sons,
we went to safari park "De Beekse Bergen". We were very fortunate
because it was a sunny day and only five degrees Celsius, not
cold for the time of year.
We made a bus tour through the safari park and saw a lot of wild
animals.

Back in our hometown, we went to a pancake restaurant and enjoyed
some very tasty pancakes before we all went home.

The weather was very nice for the time of the year. It was more
then ten degrees Celcius with a blue sky and a bright shining sun.
Perfect weather for a motorcycle ride. We did not expect visitors
today so I took the Honda 400 for a ride to Motoport, a big
motorcycle shop in Goes.

Via some backroads past Rilland and Kruiningen I rode to Goes. I
got a nice hot chocolate in the motorcycleshop, checked out some
nice bikes and the went home via the freeway. It was only about
a hundred kilometer but I enjoyed it very much.

Fortunately, the weather is very nice for the time of year so I
really enjoyed my traditional "newyears ride" this morning.

There was a lot of snow on the fields but the roads were clean.
I went back home because some of our children were coming to
visit us but else I would have been riding a lot more.
