The first snow this year, and I don't think these birds like it very
much...... nor do I because this is not the best weather to ride a
motorcycle (or even a car) because of the slippery roads.

This afternoon, after all visiting family members left, my wife
and I hung her guitars, with special guitar-brackets, on the wall
of her study.

Together with a friend, I went to Motoport in Goes to buy the book
"Man in het zadel" (Man in the saddle). It is the story of
a Dutchman who made a three year trip from Deadhorse in Alsaka to
Ushuaia in Argentina on an old Moto Guzzi V7.

Today our beautiful old Mercedes was hit on a roundabout by a young
driver who was going much to fast.
We have a lot of damage on the right side of the car and it had to be
towed away to the garage.

On "Marktplaats", the Dutch eBay, I found a very neat set of Krauser
Starlet panniers for the CB400T. The panniers that I had on the bike
were worn out and damaged. Also they were originally red, and were
painted black by one of the previous owners, but only on the outside.
I picked the new panniers up in Steenbergen this morning and mounted
them on the bike as soon as I got home.

The old panniers and a Krauser rack, are for sale now. I put an add
on Marktplaats with some pictures.
Update December 17: The old panniers are sold.

Yesterday, we went to visit my parents. Because it was the Sinterklaas
celebration on December 5, my sister surprised us with some presents.
I got a beautiful chocolate motorcycle. It is so nice that I don't know
if I will have the courage to break it and eat it.........

Today we installed the "Christmas tree" that I made last year. My
wife decorated it with ribbons, hearts and angels and a little
christmas stall with wooden figures of the people and animals.
