Some days ago, one of my sons and I bought an ActionCam. I had tested it on the BMW,
(it is on Youtube) but I
could not test it on de Honda because one of the shockabsorbers was broken.
Today it was fixed with new shock absorbers and I did a testride, first with the camera on
the mirror bracket and later on the luggage rack (as on the picture).

The recordings were not better then those that I made when the camera was on the BMW
but it was nice to ride some nice backroads anyway.

The past few weeks, my left hand hurts if I hold or pick up something so I went to my
doctor. He told me to go to the hospital to get my hand x-rayed to find out what the
problem is.

My wife, our youngest son, our son-in-law and granddaughter and I went to the fairytale
themepark "De Efteling". It is always nice to see how little kids enjoy all the beautiful
fairytale attractions.

On my new years ride on January 1, I had lost the lid of my topcase because the lock had
come loose. I emailed ARO, the manufacturer and they offered me a new lid for half the
normal price and to avoid a lot of arguing, I agreed and paid it. Now I am still waiting but,
even worse, I found out that there was a crack in the bottom of the topcase.
Today, I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht so they can repair the topcase with a sheet of
3mm thick aluminium.

Today, on my way home from the office in Amsterdam, I just missed the train at the
trainstation at Schiphol Airport. No problem, time for a milkshake and some plane watching.

The weather is very warm for the time of the year. It is winter and
one would expect snow and ice but it is nine degrees Celcius and
sunny but I won't complain.
This afternoon, I got on the Honda CB400T for a ride on some
secondary roads in Zeeland. It was very nice to be able to ride
in January without worries over snow or black ice.

Today, my wife and I went to Antwerp, to visit the "Museum
Aan de Stroom." (MAS) a very nice museum with an
exhibition of the Royal Art Academy, an exhibition about Antwerp
and some exhibitions about exotic cultures.
It was also very nice to get on the roof with a great view over
Antwerp.

This afternoon, my wife had to leave our Chrysler at the Chrysler garage because they
had to replace the hydraulic pump of the power steering. It will be ready tomorrow and
for now we got a Jeep Compass as a replacement car.
My wife and the Jeep. It suits her well, doesn't it !
It is a nice car but it does not have the "rugged Jeep feeling" that our Suzuki Samurai had
and it is not as smooth as our Chrysler so for now I prefer the Chrysler but it was fun
to try this car.

Like every year, I made a "newyears ride" this afternoon. The weather is nice for the
time of year so I rode about hundred fifty kilometer.

Unfortunately, halfway my trip, I found that the lid of my top case was gone. The locking
mechanism has come loose and the lid had been blown of the topcase by the wind while
riding..
