Tonight I was at Podium Kloosterhof for a performance by 'The Fortunate Sons',
a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band.
It was a great performance with songs like 'Bad Moon Rising', 'Susie Q',
'Have you ever seen the rain' and 'Rocking all over the world' and I
really enjoyed it.

I needed some (spare) oil for my Goldwing today so I went to Motorservice
Ossendrecht to get some.
After I got my oil, I went to the DIY shop for a new showerhead and then
I went to Motoport Goes because I wanted to buy a simple clock for the
handlebars, but unfortunately they didn't have it.
On my way home. I rode through Kattendijke and over the dike.

Later I took the scenic route and passed the rescue station of the Royal
Dutch Rescue Society. The had an open day so I stopped to check it out.
Donors of the KNRM could get a ride on the lifeboat but first I am not
a donor and second, the next possibility to go was two hours later so no
boat ride for me.
Along the Westerschelde dike I rode into Belgium and through the port area
of Antwerp, I went back into the Netherlands.
Via Calfven I drove back home where I could put the Goldwing back in the
garage after a wonderful ride.

Today I made a daytrip to Luxembourg on my Goldwing GL1200. I was
visiting my daughter, son-in-law and their children at the campsite
where they spend their holidays with their caravan.
I rode in total about 555 km from my home in the Netherlands, through
Belgium to Luxembourg and back. The roads and the traffic in Belgium
are not so nice but the roads in Luxembourg are almost perfect and
the scenery is beautiful.

Today I went to an air rifle shooting club in Oudelande in Zeeland
with my friend Frans Van Aken and his son. With lovely weather
we spent a day there shooting, with delicious grilled cheese
sandwiches for lunch.
My Diana air rifle, that is at least forty years old, still worked
fine.

This Saturday I went to the Louwman Automuseum in The Hague with
my eldest son and his youngest son. A nice trip by train back and
forth and a great fun museum and great fun with the three of us.

This afternoon, I had a few hours to spare and the weather is nice
so I went to Motoport in Goes via the Westerschelde dike.
While I was watching bikes, one of my sons called me. He asked if
I could bring one of his sons to his swimming lessons in the pool
in our village so I went back home to bring my grandson to the
swimmingpool.

Yesterday evening we went to the Kloosterhof Theater for the
'Back To The Country' concert of Dick van Altena and the band Savannah.
We enjoyed the concert very much and, as a bonus, after the concert they
held an afterparty in the bar of the Kloosterhof that we also attended.

This morning I published a video on YouTube about my new rear tire.
Because there was a big tear in my rear tire, I needed a new tire
so at Motorservice Ossendrecht, I got a new rear tire on my Goldwing.
I also tested two new mounts for the GoPro cameras on the bike in
this video on our
Motormobilist
channel.

The three children of our oldest son are staying with us this weekend.
Together with one of our sons, his two sons and a granddaughter
we went to the
'Karren
museum' (carts museum) in Essen in Belgium.
The children could play oldfasioned children games and we
admired the beautiful carts, coaches and wagons.

It is April 1, April fools day and nature was the one making the
joke. After nice spring weather, nature gave us a mini winter.
When we woke up this morning and looked out of the window, the
world was white with snow and it was freezing.
