This Sunday, we went to the birthday of one of our grandchildren.
We, in this case, is my wife and I and two grandsons.
On our way to the birthday, we stopped in Barneveld to attend a church
service at the "Doorbrekers", a very big church with maybe a thousand
people attending the service. It was impressive and beautiful.

After the servie ended, we had coffee and cake and then we went to our
grandson his birthday. And there we had coffee and cake again.
 .
On our way home, we treated our grandsons at a Happy meal at McDonalds.

Yesterday and today we had to write about the Dutch national cyclo-cross
championship in Huijbergen, close to where we live.
Yesterday, Vincent went there and wrote a nice article about the
races and today it was my turn.
Because it is closeby and I don't like parking my car in a muddy field,
I went there by bicycle. Unfortunately, halfway on my way to Huijbergen,
I had a flat tire and I had to walk (quick) to be in time for the first
race.

After the race I had to walk all the way home, about seven kilometer, with
my bicycle with the flat tire. I did it in less then an hour so not to bad.

January 5, 2019
Today was the first 'shooting day' this year. With a few members of our
shooting club we visited SSV Prinses Juliana in Sint Annaland.
Our club, SV Scheldezicht and SSV Prinses Juliana work together,
starting 2019, to give our members more opportunities to practice.
We can use their indoor shootingrange and they can shoot at our
100 meter shootingrange.
