This Saturday, we went to the ZOO in Antwerp. First we drove to
the Belgian border by car and then we took the bus to the center
of Antwerp.
In Antwerp we visited the beautiful renovated Central Station and
then we went to the ZOO, right next to the station.
A very big fish in the ZOO in Antwerp.
The ZOO in Antwerp has improved a lot since the last time I visited.
It is realy nice now and we had an interesting day.

The weather is nice today but this afternoon I did not ride my motorcycle but my
fourwheel toy, the Suzuki Samurai. I went to a 4x4 shop in Belgium and using the
Tomtom, I got on all kind of narrow country roads. I love the "avoid highways" and
"shortest direct route" functions in the Tomtom.
The Samurai on a countryroad near Essen in Belgium.
With the cassette player on (cars from 1991 did not have CD players) and the window
open I enjoyed my ride.

This afternoon, during a sunny ride in Zeeland, I noticed the numbers on my odometer.
Almost all 2's so I drove slowly so I could stop on the exact right moment.
Twenty-two thousand, two hundred twenty two kilometer and two hundred meter.
Pretty nice for a thirty-three year old bike.

My son had four concrete slabs in his garden that had to be moved to the other end of
the garden because he wanted to use them as a fundation for a henhouse.
It was much to heavy to lift so we did it the same way the Egyptians builded the
pyramids, we rolled them on wooden rollers.
Moving a heavy concrete slab
All four slabs are in their right place but my back is hurting now

We could get tickets for the "Pasion de Buena Vista" show from Cuba
in theatre "De Maagd" in Bergen op Zoom so yesterday evening, my wife
and I went to the theatre.
Pasion de Buena Vista
The dancing was spectaculair but the music was a little boring after
a while.

This afternoon I had a meeting at the IBM office in Amsterdam. I left home early so I could ride to the
city center to make a picture of the Honda on the Dam, with the Monument on the Dam in the
background, before I went to the meeting at the office.
The CB400T at the Dam in Amsterdam
With the train and bus it takes me 3 1/2 hour to go from home to the office but now it took
me less then two hours. Because I had the appointment in the afternoon, I could avoid the
rush hour with the traffic jams.

To test the Krauser luggagerack and panniers on the CB400T, I made a short biketrip
this afternoon. Via Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal, I went to St. Willebrord and then
to Meer and Meerle in Belgium. In Baarle-Nassau I had a cappuccino and then went
back home via Brecht and Wuustwezel in Belgium..
The CB400T in St. Willebrord
The bike performed great. No problem with the rack or panniers so now the CB400T
is official promoted to "Touring Bike"

The last two days I have been working on the Honda CB400T. A long
time ago, we bought a Krauser luggagerack and panniers and now I am
fitting them to the bike.
The aluminum construction I made
I had to make an construction with aluminum strips to make the
rear end more stable but now I just have to get new turn-indicators
on the rack and then it is finished (the original turn-indicators
don't fit on the Krauser rack).

Together with two of my sons, my wife and I went to the Metropolis
cinema in Antwerp to see the new Muppet movie.
The Muppet movie in Antwerp
The beginning of the film was not as good as I expected but later
it became a real happy and funny Muppet show like it should.
My all time favorite Muppet is Animal. I love to see him playing
the drums.
