This morning my wife went to the garage to get the car we bought
after we sold the Chrysler. We are looking forward to a serious
trip with this car.

We have a tradition that when we have a new car, one of the first
rides is to the MacDonald's to celebrate the new car with a hamburger
and a milkshake. This time we went to the macDonald's in Roosendaal.

On saturday we (my wife, our youngest son and I) went to the Elf Fantasy Fair that was
held around Castle "De Haar" near Utrecht..
Because we had sold the car a few days ago, we had to go by public transport, a more then three
hour trip by bus and train, but it was worth it.

While I was waiting for the bus to the station on my way home, I saw this moorhen in
the grass next to the canal.
So even in a big city like Amsterdam, it is possible to make nice nature pictures.

Today, my wife and I went to a oldtimer car- and truck- festival in Terheijden, a little
village North of Breda. When we arrived, we could park our motorbikes on the festival area
and we got a voucher for a free coffee and cake. Not bad !
We saw some beautiful cars and trucks, a lot of tractors and some very nice
motorbikes and classic mopeds.

While I was riding my BMW on some country road between Breda and Essen (B),
I saw a pheasant that was starting to cross the road right in front of me.
I slowed down and was able to take a picture of it, with the camera that I have
mounted on the handlebars.

The last picture of our Chrysler. Just minutes after I took
this photo, the new owner came to get it. Now we start looking
for an affordable smaller car and in the meantime we have our
motorbikes and bicycles.

Because my wife was visiting an old neighbour in The Hague, I had almost the whole day to
myself so I checked the Bigtwin website for interesting events and found "Pietersen Roll &
Rock III" in Rotterdam. An event organised by a big US car and bike dealer in the port of
Rotterdam..

We went to the fruit and vegetables museum in Kapelle in Zeeland this afternoon.
It is a small but interesting museum and in this time of year, all the fruit trees have
lots of blossoms so it looked wonderful.
The weather was perfect and we had a very nice ride to and from the museum too.

This morning I met our youngest son in the train to Rotterdam. To my surprise, he had a
present for me, a "steampunk" watch. Very nice !
