Our youngest son arrived on Sunday evening at Schiphol Airport after a school trip
to an IT education event in Romania, that he made with two teachers and one other
student.

On Saturday afternoon, my wife and I arrived home after a two day trip. One of our nephews
was getting married in a castle in Hierden.
Late at night, after the wedding and the party, we went to a hotel nearby and the next day we
went to visit the historical village Spakenburg, were some older ladies still wear the original costumes.
They have a harbour in Spakenburg with nice old wooden sailboats.
After our visit to Spakenburg, we went to the Muiderslot, a castle near Amsterdam, originating from
the 13th century. It was very nice to see this castle. The last time I had visited this castle was on a
school trip when I was a little kid..

I had a bussy Sunday. In Huijbergen was the cycling race "Ronde van Huijbergen" and
at the same time, the music festival organised by the orchestra St. Cecilia.
I went there on my BMW and walked up en down from the cycling race to the music
festival and back but I had two nice articles on
RegioActueel.nl.

It is Friday so time for a ride. I wanted to test the ContiTrailAttack 2 tires that I got
a little more so I choose the route through the forrest on a dirt road to Ossendrecht.
It was raining when I started but during my ride back home, the sun came through
the clouds and I had a vey nice ride.

Today we went to a Gothic & Fantasy event in "De Broodfabriek" in Rijswijk. Finaly my wife
found the dress she was searching. We had a very nice day and saw a lot of
interesting people and enjoyed the shows of the bands Rapalje and Shireen on the big
stage, the swordfight demo's and a lot more. Our youngest son and I tried archery and
he also did a swordfighting workshop.

A few weeks ago, I filled in a form to test new Continental tires. After a few days, I got an
email from Chris van Paassen, Product Manager/Inside Sales at Continental Banden Groep B.V.
with the message;
"Van harte gefeliciteerd! Jij bent geselecteerd als testrijder voor de nieuwe motorbandenactie
van Continental.", that means that I get a free set of Conti tires for my BMW to do my trip to
Italy.
This afternoon I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht to get my new Continental tires mounted
and some time and a cup of coffee later, I rode home on my brand new ContiTrailAttack 2 tires.

This morning, when my wife was still asleep after coming home from work, I went to
the printshop to get my two travel reports (Barcelona and Morocco) that had been
printed.
After I got the two books, I rode through the polder via Rilland to Ossendrecht to get
some nice bread rolls and croissants at the bakery, for breakfast with my wife.
I enjoyed the ride through the polder with beautiful weather on my beautiful bike.

This morning we went for a bicycle ride in the nature reserve near
our house. My wife had a trailer behind her e-bicycle with my
granddaughter. Halfway we stopped at a picnic place, parked
the bikes and went for a walk. Our granddaughter enjoyed running
around, sitting in a tree and playing with the sand.

Carnival in Ostrecht
Sunday I took pictures of the carnival parade in Put en Buntland, yesterday in Wjeeldrecht
and today I went to Ostrecht to take pictures for an article on
RegioActueel.nl. Again, the weather was fine and the parade was nice.

Carnival in Wjeeldrecht
Today it was time for the carnival parade in Wjeeldrecht (Hoogerheide and Woensdrecht)
so I took a lot of pictures for an article at
RegioActueel.nl.
It was a very nice parade and I enjoyed taking pictures.

Carnival in Put en Buntland
The carnivals association "SC De Grensneus" in Putte had their 44th anniversary so
I went there to make an article with pictures about the carnival parade and the afterparty

Spring is in the air........
It is only March but the weather is so nice. This morning I made a short ride on my
wifes Honda and when I saw these flowers, I had to make a picture.
