Today was the funeral of my mother in law in the St. Gertrudis church
in Ossendrecht. The church was filled with friends, family and other
people who had known my mother in law.

This afternoon, al our grandchildren were visiting us so their mothers
told them to sit on, or stand in front of, two chairs in our living room
so we could get a picture of them all.

This morning, while everyone was still asleep, I left home for a Sunday-
morning ride through Zeeland. In a field next to the road from the
Philipsdam to Zierikzee, I saw an old fighter jet, a F104 Starfighter
on a small hill.

After my mother in law died last Tuesday, it has been very busy. A lot
of things had to be organised but today, after I picked up the liturgy
for the funeral service at the printshop, I got my GoldWing from my
garage and went for a ride to the Harley dealer in Goes to look at the
2015 Harley models. The new Harleys are nice but I like my GoldWing more.
From Goes I went over the Zeeland Bridge and the Philips Dam to the isle
Tholen and went home via the Oesterdam.

It felt good to be away from everything and ride my bike for a few hours.

This morning I went to Bergen op Zoom to get an extra spare key for
my GoldWing. Then I went to a little old town about thirty five
kilometer to the North, Willemstad. They have a nice marina and
I had a cappuccino and apple pie on the terrace of a cafe on the
quay before I took the long way (via Belgium) home.

My little sister had her 50th birthday today so this afternoon we went
to congratulate her. Unfortunately it took us almost two hours to get
there, due to some road construction work but it was nice to see my
sister and a lot of my family at the birthday party.

It is the first Sunday in September so Cafe Die Twee in Bergen op Zoom
have their "American Day" with lots of beautiful cars and bikes.
After church, I went home for lunch and then I went to Cafe Die Twee to
write an article for RegioActueel.
I know, it is was a dirty job but someone had to do it.
Because the RegioActueel website is off-line due to
some technical problems, I put the pictures on the
RegioActueel Facebook page

In Rilland, a small village in Zeeland, was a "Nazomerfair" at the
site of the motorcycle shop "de Knalpot". I went there to take some
pictures for www.regioactueel.nl
of the fair, and of course because I like to look at the nice classic
and special bikes on display in the motorcycle shop..

Yesterday, I had been testing with video from the camera on the dashboard
of my GoldWing. Today I tested the ActionCam in photo mode.
I picked a nice route on country roads, to Seppe airfield and took a lot of
pictures using the ActionCam. After I parked the GoldWIng near the runway at
Seppe airfield, I took some pictures of my bike and starting airplanes with
my Nikon S31 camera.
