This morning I had to pick up an electric bike for my daughter.
It was stored in my father in law his garden shed in Ossendrecht.
The weather was very nice so I took the scenic route, from
Ossendrecht through the forest to Calfven, to my daughters house.

My wife is visiting family, the weather is good and there are two
motorcycles in the garage for me to choose from. Time for a ride !
This morning I took the CB400T for a ride through Zeeland. Via
Kruijningen, I went to Yerseke and then via Waarde and Rilland I
went home again. Only 85 km but a great ride.

Sitting behind a desk, looking at the computer, sitting in a car
looking through the windshield, sitting in a train, mostly
sleeping or reading...... It is not healthy and I really need to
move a little more so today I left the GoldWing in the garage and
went to Motorservice Ossendrecht on my bicycle.

The weather was nice and it is a nice ride with great views from
the "Brabantse Wal" and a part of the ride is through the forest
between Calfven and Ossendrecht.

According to the weather report, today should be one of the last
"summer"days of the year with more then twenty degrees Celcius a
lot of sunshine so together with a friend, I choose today for a
motorcycle ride.
After a cup of coffee at my mates house, we went through Belgium
to Baarle Nassau for a cappuccino and apple pie in the sun. Then
we went to Nispen, a small village on the border with Belgium
and had another coffee. It was a very nice ride on good
countryroads.

This weekend and next weekend is the yearly big fair in Putte, a
village close by. I went there today to write and article for
www.regioactueel.nl.
I took my wifes Honda CB400T because it is a smaller bike then my GoldWing
and so it is easier to find a safe and easy parking spot near the very
busy fair (and it is a very nice bike to ride !).
The weather was perfect. Nice for the people at the fair but also very
nice for me while riding the motorbike !

This afternoon I made a nice tour. From Huijbergen, on the Belgian
border I went to Wildert in Belgium and from Wildert to Zundert in the
Netherlands. Then I rode to Oudenbosch to visit the basilica.
The basilica is a copy of the St.Peter in Rome on a smaller scale
and since I visited the original last spring, I wanted to visit
this copy, so close to my home, too.

On Wednesday afternoon we were on our way to visit friends who
had a baby a few days ago when we had to stop for a group of geese
who were walking on the Markiezaatsweg in Bergen op Zoom. causing
a huge traffic jam.
