My wife is a volunteer at the 'participatie café'. A small community center in a small village nearby. The have a small supermarket, a coffeebar, a library and they organize activities for people from that village.

Today the president of the foundation, the initiator of the foundation, my wife, and a few volunteers, together with the alderman of the municipality, signed an agreement with the municipality to help combat poverty in the neighborhood.

At half past four in the morning my alarmclock woke me up. We had to get up early for our youngest son his wedding.
At half past seven, we arrived at their new appartment for the first photo's of the day but finaly, at one o'clock in the afternoon, the civil wedding service started, on a lawn on the banks of the river 'Oude Maas'. We were fortunate with the weather because it was a nice sunny day.

When the civil marriage ceremony was finished, we went inside for the church wedding service.
We had dinner and a wedding reception and some time with friends and family until we went home again and arrived home at half past one in the (next) morning.

Today I attended the 'Dutch Lever Action Match 2019' in Wassenaar that was organised by the WLASSH (Winchester Lever Action Shooters Society Holland). I attended in the 'Trapper' class (25 meter) and the Legacy class (50 meter) and I am happy with the results.

Yesterday, my friend John, who lives in California, arrived on the cruiseship 'Serenade of the Seas' in the port of Zeebrugge in Belgium. I waited at John at the cruise terminal with my car, and together we went to Sluis (in the Netherlands) and then to Brugge (in Belgium).
It was very nice to meet my old friend after so many years and we had a wonderful day.
