It is a warm and sunny day so when John, the owner of Motorservice
Osssendrecht asked me to help with a computer problem, I got the
BMW from the garage and went to Ossendrecht.
After the problem was solved, I did a little tour in Zeeland on
my BMW, to enjoy the nice weather.

One of our sons, together with his two sons, did the 'Rovers-Run'
at Fort De Roovere in Halsteren. It is a three kilometer obstacle
run and the boys did a great job. They all finished, despite an
injured knee of the youngest boy.

Together with one of my sons, I visited the Dutch 'Air Force days'
on Volkel airbase. What I liked most was a fly by of an old Spitfire,
a more modern F16 and the very new F35.

This morning, one of our sons helped my wife with clipping the
wings of two of our chicken. They (the chickens) tried to fly
over the fence so they needed to be clipped.

In the afternoon, my wife and I went to visit a castle in the
small village Baarland in Zeeland. It was a very nice little
castle but because today is a holliday, it was so crowded that
we left after half an hour but we will be back some day.

Today I visited a stable and riding school in Essen in Belgium.
My great niece has a pony and riding lessons there. A few days
before I went there, two foals were born and they were with
their mothers in the meadow.

Today my wife, one of our sons, and I, visited the 'An Insect World'
exhibition in Amsterdam. An exhibition organized by my niece Maaike
Krijtenburg with artworks, with insects as their theme, by Sandra
Westgeest, Merel Slootheer, Cedric Laquieze and of course Maaike
herself.
