Because our oldest son had a tour with his band in Servia en Hongary and his wife had to
work, we stayed in a holidayhome near their house to take care of our granddaughter.

This morning we had to pick up our youngest son in Zeeland where
he had been staying for a few days and on our way home we stopped
at the McDonalds in Goes for a brunch.
Next to the McDonalds is a Motoport store with a seperate BMW
store and a Harley store on the top floor, so ofcourse I had to
check out the bikes.
We both liked the Sportster 1200 (the bike on the picture) very much
but unfortunately we didn't like the price tag so I guess it wil
take a while before I buy a Sportster again.

I do like Sportsters very much, In the past had a
KH900, a
XLH883 Hugger and a
XL883 and
the new Sportsters are a lot better then the old models.
In the evening we went to the theater to watch a show of Jan Rot, a local singer and
songwriter. He is specialised in translating songs to Dutch and he is very good at it.
He is also a great singer with a lot of humor so we had a very pleasand evening.

Ofcourse I made some pictures and wrote an article about the show on RegioActueel.nl.

The Dutch prime minister and the Canadian prime minister will be at a
War Memorial Service in Bergen op Zoom today so Michiel and Vincent
are there to make a RegioActueel.nl article about this visit.
Sascha, Vincents wife, had to work today so while Vincent was taking
pictures, grandpa (that's me) can take care of Tygo.

After we had lunch with nice croissants, together with grandma, Tygo
played with his big truck with a racecar as cargo until he was tired
and had to go to bed in the afternoon.

Yesterday my new Nikon SB900 flash unit was in the mail. Most
of the time I use two cameras and with only one flash unit, I
had to switch it from camera to camera all the time.
Now I bought the Nikon SB900 each camera has its own flash.

It is a very sophisticated flash so I have to study the manual
very good. It can do about everything except making coffee :-)

Rock & Blues Cafe "Die Twee" in Bergen op Zoom organizes every year a
"Rat Bike Day". I always go there to write an article for RegioActueel
but also because I like it very much ;-)

Today I was together with my youngest son on the BMW. Unfortunately
the weather was very bad with lots of rain so a lot of bikers had stayed
at home (afraid to get their ratbike wet ????) but a few showed up and
we had a good time and
nice pictures anyway.
