Our granddaughter Yara wanted to make a picture with my compact-camera
and she made this very nice picture of Erika en one of her cats

This afternoon, at fathers day, I got a nice poem and four 'customised'
bottles of beer from my grandchildren.
With a temperature outside of about 30 degrees Celcius, a cold beer is a very
welcome gift .

Today I went to the nursing home where my mother lives. They had
organised a walk with wheelchairs for a group of their cliënts
and I had the honour to push my mothers wheelchair. The weather
was wonderful and we had a nice picknick in the park with all
the old people.

On this wonderful sunny Sunday afternoon, my wife Erika and I went
to the Kalmthoutse Heide in Belgium for a walk. It is a very beautiful
nature reserve and we enjoyed the walk through nature.

After we had finished our walk through the Kalmthoutse heide, we went to the
Beekeeping museum to see a lot of interesting things about bees. Before we
left, we bought some honey.
Remark: I used my 12 year old Minolta Z10 camera for these pictures.

In the night from June 5 to 6, the Roparun runners, who run from
Paris to Rotterdam to raise money for people with cancer, pass
Ossendrecht, a village near us.
Although it is the middle of the night, the people of Ossendrecht
always make it a big party, to support the runners.
This year the theme of the party was 'Hollywood' so they renamed
Ossendrecht 'Ossewood' and people dressed as famous movie-stars.
