My wife is interested in our family tree and via a genealogy website
she came in contact with some far relative in the USA.
She and her husband and some of their family from Germany are
visiting Amsterdam so we went there too, to meet them.

We had a very pleasand afternoon with the two nice couples and we
were glad that my wife and I both could speak English and German.

One of our sons will move to a new house after his divorce and he
could use some furniture from the house of my late parents, so we
went there with a big Ford van to collect the furniture.

Last Thursday, I got my new (for me) BMW F650GS. I could not get used
to the handling of the K75RT so now I traded it in for this F650GS.
I changed the extra-low seat for a higher 'Wunderlich' seat for a much
more comfortable riding position.

I could not get used to the BMW K75RT that I bought in January this
year so today I traded it for a BMW F650GS from the year 2000.
I used to have a bike like this and went to the Northcape and other
places with it and enjoyed it very much so I am sure I will enjoy
this bike too.

Delivery of the bike is scheduled for next week.

One of our sons has a job as a civilian at Woensdrecht Airbase. Today
was familyday at the airbase so we visited our son his workplace,
the airbase.
They had lots of interesting attractions and one of them was a display
of modern and historical aircraft.

This afternoon, I drove my aunt to Schiphol Airport for her flight
home to South Africa.
After she passed customs, I went to the observation deck and waited
until her plane left the platform.

My aunt from South Africa and I visited the villages in Woensdrecht
and from Putte, at the border with Belgium, we walked into Belgium so
she could tell she had been in Belgium during her visit to us

With my wife and my aunt from South Africa, I visited the "Nazomerfair'
(end of summer fair) in Rilland, a small village not far from where
we live. It is a very nice fair with lots of local and handmade
products in combination with the 'open door day' of motorcycleshop
'De Knalpot'.
