This weekend we have a weekend without news-jobs. Erika and I went to
Yerseke in Zeeland to visit the "Oosterschelde museum", a museaum about
This part of Zeeland with a lot of information, objects and and
artefacts about mussels and oyster fishing.

On our way home, we made a detour through the fishing harbour to look
at the fishing boats and the Oosterschelde.

One of the jobs that our son Vincent does, is interviews of business people
in an old chair, a chair that the company Vincent works for, had bought
from us.
Sometimes I join him to help with the chair and just for company.

September 16, 2017
Together with our oldest son and his family, we went to the museum
Kröller-Müller, on the 'Hoge Veluwe'. We enjoyed looking at the beautiful
paintings and visited a small concert with singers and harp, contrabass
and flute. The theme was German poëtry and words.
It was nice to see how much our granddaughter enjoyed the paintings and
how much she knew about Vincent van Gogh, het favorite painter.
One of my favorite paintings in the museum was a painting of Willem
Bastiaan Tholen, 'Huizen in aanbouw', that is 'houses under construction'
in English. I also like the painting of the building of the tower of Babel
by Hendrick van Cleef very much.

We live in a very green and beautiful part of the Netherlands and today
Erika and I enjoyed it with a walk through the 'Noordpolder'. This area
is just five minutes away from our home. I am so happy that I live here
and not in a dirty, busy city.

This afternoon I needed to get away for a moment so I got the Honda
from the garage and went for a ride. I went to Motoport, a motorcycle
shop in Goes in Zeeland.
On the parking in front of the shop was a beautiful BMW R100GS/Dakar.

This morning I went to the 'Nazomerfair' (late-summer fair) in Rilland.
It was on the grounds of 'De Knalpot', a BMW motorcycle shop. The
motorcycle shop had an open door day with nice motorcycles on display
and free motorcycle-magazines.
