Last weekend we had our annual family weekend with my parents, my brother
and sisters, their spouses and all children and grandchildren.
We stayed in a couple of holiday homes on recreation park Familyland.

We played midgetgolf on Saturday morning. On Saturday evening we had
a big family dinner and on Sunday, after church, we had coffee with
the whole family. It was nice to meet and chat with some family members
who live far away.

Together with my son Vincent, I was at the opening by prof. Mr. Pieter
van Vollenhoven, of the Heritage Days (historical monuments are opened
for the public) in the Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom to make an
article for RegioActueel.

It was a busy day today. At first I went to Cafe Die Twee in Bergen op
Zoom to take pictures and video for
an article about their yearly American Day.
There were a lot of very nice American cars and bikes but the most interesting
were two beautiful restored pre-war vintage Harley-Davidsons.
From Cafe Die Twee I walked to the center of Bergen op Zoom for
an article about "Cars and Charity". A event for special and exotic cars
to raise money for charity.

This morning I went to the "Nazomerfair" (= end of summer fair) in Rilland.
The Nazomerfair is held, on the big yard of "De Knalpot", a BMW motorcycle
shop, who have their yearly open house day during the fair.
The fair was very interesting with lots of regional products like wine,
fish and honey, lots of art and handicraft and interesting entertainment
like axe-throwing and wine tasting.
The open house day had as this years theme "sidecars" and there was a
nice army-sidecar on display on the fair, a racing sidecar inside the shop
and you could get information about sidecar riding courses.

It has been some time ago that I went for a ride on the GoldWing but
today the weather forecast was not to bad, just a little rain, so I
went for a ride.
I went to Goes to go to a big motorcycle shop to watch the latest BMW's,
GoldWings and Harley's. After a hot chocolat in the motorcycle shop, I
went back home via secondary roads and through Rilland and Ossendrecht
