September 2008

The past week I spend riding my BMW F650GS in France. I visited a friend who lives about 400 km South of Paris and together we drove further to the South to see the famous "Viaduc de Millau".

The "Viaduc de Millau"

The Viaduc de Millau is a bridge over the river "Tarn", in the province Aveyron in the South of France. It is the highest bridge in the world. One of the pillars is 343 meters high ! It is a part of the "La Méridienne" freeway, the A75/E11 that runs between Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier.

There is a report of the whole trip on my travel page.

Yesterday, Michiel, Vincent and I went to a photography presentation in our local library. Todat Vincent and I took the bus to Antwerp to practice what we heard yesterday.
Antwerp is a very nice sity to go on a photo-trip. Many old buildings and nice streets so we had a very pleasand trip and made a lot of pictures.

We had only a few hours in the afternoon today but I am sure we will do it again and then try to spend a whole day in Antwerp.
