I visited and photographed a few events this weekend for
zuidwestactueel.nl. At one of the events I got a demonstration
of Kenjutsu, Japanese swordfighting like the Samurai's did.

My granddaughter and I build an airplane this morning. Her mother, my daughter, was
to work and grandma was asleep so my granddaughter and I had the time to build
this airplane together .

245 km/hour, that was the speed the FYRA, a highspeed train, had on my ride from
Schiphol (Amsterdam Airport) to Rotterdam Central Station. I have never been in a
train that was so fast. .

Unfortunately my next train on my way home had a 40 minute delay

Today, early in the morning, my new grandson Jonah was born. I took the afternoon off
from work and took the train home so I could see my new grandson and to congratulate
my son and his wife and my other grandson.

This evening my wife and I returned home after a very nice weekend trip to Den Helder, the Navy harbour
in the far North of Holland.
We almost had to cancel this weekend because I had to work on Saturday but
fortunately a collegue was so friendly to take care of the things that I had to do.

We went there with my wifes niece and her husband and little
daughter. We stayed in Hotel Den Helder. This hotel has a big covered courtyard with a London
bus changed into a bar.

We visited my wifes uncle and aunt and another niece and het husband on Saturday and after a
nice breakfast in the hotel, we went to the Navy Museum on Sunday.

It was very nice to meet some of my wifes family and the Navy Museum we visited is interesting
and I am sure we will go there another time again because we did not see everything and most of
all it was good to spend a nice weekend with my wife.

My collegue and I had to attend a meeting at a customers office in
"De Delftse Poort", the highest building in Rotterdam. We had a
meeting at the 36th floor and enjoyed the great view.

Beside enjoying the views, we had a good meeting too.

Fortunately, after a few days in bed and doing intersting thinks in
the weekend like a photo and video report for
zuidwestactueel.nl, I am back to work.....

I am still not feeling 100% well but a collegue who is working
with me for the same customer was ill too, so I needed to get to
work as soon as possible.

The last few days I have been in bed with a nasty stomach flu. On
Monday I had my first day work after my holiday and on Monday evening
I was feeling sick and had to run to the bathroom much to often.....
This is where I have spend to much time lately
I spend a few days just laying in my bed or going to the bathroom,
feeling very miserable but now I am feeling a little bit better.
I hope I can get back to work on monday.
