Triumph Motorcycles offered a testride on an all-road bike and
by doing the testride, I can win an expensive motorcycle holiday.
Today I went to Rijen for a testride on a Triumph Tiger 800 XRX.
If I buy another bike someday, it will probably be an all-road so
I was very interested in the Triumph.

It is a nice bike. The engine is almost perfect but I don't like
the ergonomics. The tank is to wide, the handlebars to low, and the
center of gravity is way to high.
It is funny but everytime I testride a brand new modern bike, I like
my old GoldWing more.

The path to our front door was overgrown with flowers. It's a bit
much, but I don't want to prune them now. It is too beautiful.

For
Regioactueel, I went to the Run-Bike-Run in Hoogerheide.
The have to run for 2.5 kilometer, then ride a bicycle for 22 km and then
run again for 5 km. Dispite the heavy rain, I took a lot of pictures and
Eline, one of the organisers, took a picture of me.

Today, my wife and I went to the "Foute Cross" in Lopik. One of our
sons played there with his band Diptych. While he was playing, we
took care of our granddaughter.
The "Foute Cross" is a stockcar race and a demolition derby and FUN
to look at.

After enjoying the performance of Diptych, we took our granddaughter back to
their home and had dinner with our daughter in law and grandson. After our
son arrived home, we went home after a long but pleasant day.

The weather is nice today so my wife and I went for a bicycle ride to
Huijbergen. At cafe De Kroon, we had a coffee, before we went back home.

Our sport-shooting club
SV Scheldezicht,
organised a clay-pigeon shooting afternoon at a clay-pigeon shooting club
in Rilland.
The weather is very nice and I went there without my son, who usualy
joins me at the shooting club so I went there alone, on the GoldWing.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon with eight people from our club
and I really would like to do this some time again.

I had a busy day today. First I went to the
"Happy Day's Festival"
with music from the 30's, 40's en 50's and then I went to the
"Op de T Festival"
with music in Woodstock style.
Back at home, my daughter had organised a BBQ with most of the
family and after the BBQ, I went to the finish of a
24 hour spinning marathon
for charity and the finish of a
run for charity.

Today is the first Sunday in may and that is the day that the
people from Café Die Twee organise their anual Ratbike Day.
I went there for Regioactueel and took a lot of photo's for my
article on Regioactueel.
