The wedding
Yesterday was my sons wedding and the day started with a biketrip.....
Bruno, my brother-in-law was the photographer. On his way to the wedding he
lost a lot of time because of a traffic-jam so instead of riding his BMW to our
house and going with me in my car to the house of the bride's parents, I got
on my GoldWing (because I have a GPS on the Wing) and met him at the freeway, to
show him the way to the bride's parents house..
We were there in time ....... Hey, every reason to get on the bike is a good
one ... 
It was a very nice wedding, nice people, good food and good music. One of my sons,
played with his band "In Salvation" in the church service. The other took care
of the music on the wedding party, together with the brother of the bride.
At around midnight, the party was over and at half past two, we were done cleaning
and clearing up everything and went to bed after a long but nice day.
BTW, the work on the new room is completely finished.... just in time !!

Back to work
Yesterday I went back to work again after being ill. Fortunately I feel a lot
better now. After riding my bicycle to the station, I had breakfast and a
newspaper in the train.
Work is not to bad but it is just a shame it takes so much valuable time. There
are a lot other things that I have to do...........
Last weekend, I did some work on the wall for the new room and next friday I hope
to finish the building work so we can start painting.

Ill again :-(
After being a few weeks at home with back problems, I was happy to be
healthy again. This weekend I planned to finish the wall for the new
room and then last Friday came.......
I was at work and was suddenly feeling very very tired so I went home a little
earlier then normal. In the train I was feeling very sick and then, in Rotterdam,
the train that I wanted to get was not riding that day so I had to get the
slowtrain for half the trip and then wait 20 minutes for another slow
train for the last part of the trip. Then I had the bicycle trip home that
took me twice the time it normaly does.
The next day I called the doctor and found out I had a bad inflammation of
my bladder and got strong antibiotics that I have to take for at least a
week now.
So, instead of working hard to finish the new room, I have been in bed for
most of the time, feeling very sick....and the room is still not done and
the marriage is in two weeks....... :-(

Working on the wall
Because I have to do a lot of work on the wall for the new room, I took a day off.
I fitted the door and did some other things to get the new room ready. It was a
very usefull day and I did the part of the job that was the most difficult for me.
Today I also went to the bikeshop to tell them that I liked the R1100GS very much
but that I want to keep the F650GS.

Choices......
When I was visiting our local bikeshop with my wife, we saw a beautifull
BMW R110GS in the showroom and they made me a good offer for my F650GS ......
I made a testride on it an liked it very much.
The drawback is that it has no panniers and topcase and not even a tankbag.
That is a problem because a pannier set for a GS is expensive.
Another issue is the fuel consumption. With a price of more then € 1.60 per liter,
the 25 km that the 650GS does on a liter is interesting......
So now I have to make a choice. Keep the 650GS or get an 1100GS....
