It's carnival time in the part of the Netherlands where we live. Today
the four carnival princes of the four villages in our area visited the
the Mayor and City Counsel Members at the city hall.
I was there to write an article for
Regioactueel.nl and while I was taking pictures,
my picture was taken.

The day after our nephews wedding party, we spend the day visiting
interesting places in Groningen.
We went to the museum Het Hoogeland in the Schoolstraat 4 in Warffum,
then to the small harbour of Noordpolderzijl and finaly to the seal
sanctuary in Pieterburen.

One of our nephews had his wedding party in Groningen, more then
300 km from where we live. We booked a hotelroom nearby and enjoyed
the wedding and then went back to our hotelroom instead of driving
another 300 km.

Our oldest son had left his wallet in our car so today we went to
his house to give him his wallet back and to see our youngest grandchild.

Together with my wife and my father, I visited my mother in her room
at the nursing home.

After the visit, my wife, my father and I had dinner at the MacDonalds
before we went home again.

The weather was so good today, it felt like spring with 14 degrees Celcius
and a lot of sun.
I had to go to Ossendrecht to write an article about a table tennis club
for elderly people and because of the nice weather, I got our CB400T from
the garage for a nice ride. First I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht to
have a cup of coffee with John and then I went to the table tennis club.

On my way back I took the 'long way home' via Huijbergen and I enjoyed to
ride my motorcycle again on this sunny day.
