Before I started to use it, my new (for me) BMW had a full service at
Motorservice Ossendrecht. It needed a lot of work but now it is fine.
I picked the bike up today and left my BMW F650GS at the shop so John
can sell it for me.

I went to the International Dogs Biathlon on Woensdrecht Airbase.
almost a hundred teams from all over Europe, came to Woensdrecht
Airbase with their dogs to compete.
I had a very nice safe spot on the roof of a garage to watch the police-
and army-dogs get their "prey".

Today, very early in the morning, our new granddaughter Milou was
born. My wife and I were babysitting the other children while
our daughter and her husband went to the hospital.
Only a few hours later, they arrived home, with the baby !

At the 3K Run & Gun competition in Hulten today, I won my 3th 'Super
Senior' trophy. I also got second place in the rimfire open class.
We had to do the obstacle course with a wooden dummy because it is
not legal to carry a gun outside the shooting range.

Our Renault Clio is getting old and worn out so we started looking for
a newer 'second car'. We found a very neat Opel Corsa 1.2, just a few
hundred meters from where we live, to replace the old Clio.

August 13, 2019
Today I went to Snelrewaard to ride my new (for me) BMW home. I went
there by train and after finishing the paperwork, I drove the bike
home. Well, actualy, not home but to Motorservice Ossendrecht for
some much needed maintenance.
I had a nice ride but halfway, just past Rotterdam, I had to stop
at a gasstation because of a heavy thunderstorm. Fortunately, they
had very good coffee at the gasstation so it was not a waste of time.

Fairly regularly our children and grandchildren eat lunch or dinner with us and
after dinner I often read a few stories from a children's bible, with many pictures.

After riding a bike like this in the US, I knew it was a great bike
so when I had the chance to buy one for a decent price, I did it.
It needs some work so it first trip will be to Motorservice Ossendrecht.

This morning I took my BMW from the garage to ride to Goes to
Motoport, a big motorcycle shop, because John, the owner of our
local motorcycleshop, told me they had a lot of very old classic
BMW motorcycles on display.
Well, they had some real beauties in the showroom and one of them
was this BMW R4 that looked like brand new !

This spring, we planted a lot of plants with flowers in our garden
and now the weather is good, we see a lot of butterflies, bumblebees
and ordinary bees using the honey from the flowers in our garden for
their food.
