This morning, my grandson Tygo was born. We drove my son and his wife to the
hospital half past three this morning and now, a few hours later, we are grandparents

This afternoon we had to go to a small village on Schouwen-Duiveland in Zeeland
to get our youngest son who has been staying there for the weekend.
Unfortunately it is snowing and most of the time we could not go faster then 40 km/hour
on the freeway. It was very slippery and there was a stormy wind blowing.

It is not very far but with this conditions, it took us a very long time to get
there and get back home again.

Yesterday I got a letter from my BMW dealer (Motoport Goes) to tell that
they had the new 650 and 1200 cc GS models in the showroom.
I could make an apointment for a testride if I wanted.
Well, I was very curious about the new F650GS and F800GS so I asked
if I could testride the F800GS. That was no problem so I went to Goes this
morning.

I did a 45 minute tour in Zeeland. It was a nice bike but a little to
"sportive" for my taste. It was rather high too. When I told the salesman
about it, he offered me another testride on the new 800cc F650GS.

That was a much nicer bike. It felt much like my own F650 but has more
power and better brakes with ABS. It was a nice ride but I enjoyed the
ride back home on my own F650GS very much too.
