We spend some time at our daughters house on new years eve before
we went home and had a bingo with (almost) the whole family via zoom.

Today I made my 'end of the year ride' because I won't have time for
it tomorrow. It is also a testride to test my new camara setup with
the two GoPro cameras and my microphone.
I mounted the GoPro 8 on my windscreen and the GoPro 3 on my
handlebars. From the GoPro 3 there goes a wire to the microphone
in my helmet.

It was a nice ride with wonderfull weather (14 degrees Celcius in
December is warm! ) and the camera setup worked fine with video and
sound. I will publish the video I made soon on our
Motormobilist YouTube channel.

It is freezing a few degrees but it is sunny and dry so a nice day
for a motorcycle ride on my BMW.
My new motorcycle boots are fine, I don't have cold feet and my
hands stay warm because of the handlebar heating.

A few days ago, I ordered new tires for my BMW and today I went to
Motorservice Ossendrecht to get them on the bike.
I have got a Metzeler 150/70 R17 Tourance Next Rear TL 69V on the
rear and a Metzeler 110/80 R19 Tourance Next 59V TL on the front.

From Ossendrecht, I went to Goes, to Motoport, to buy a new pair
of motorcycle boots because my old boots are worn out and my left
foot was getting wet when it rained because there was a hole in
the sole.

This morning I went to Wemeldinge to pick up my new (for me, but it
is 35 years old) Honda GoldWing GL1200 Interstate.
From Wemeldinge I went to Kapelle with Rob, the previous owner, to
register the bike on my name and then I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht
for a major service, to get the electrics sorted out and to get the
timingbelts replaced.

This afternoon I did a short testride on a Honda GoldWing GL1200
Interstate from 1986. It felt good and I seriously consider bying
it. It is 35 years old so it needs some work but I think the basis
is good.

December 4, 2021
Last week, we visited our youngest son, his wife and his newborn
daughter, but only for a very short visit. Today we spend some more
time with them and my wife could hold her youngest grandchild in
her arms for the first time.

December 1, 2021
Today we had 'Sinterklaas evening' with some of our children and
grandchildren. First we had a very delicious Tapas dinner and then
the bag and boxes with presents showed up.
We had a very good time and the children were very happy with their
sweets and presents (lots of LEGO).
