With our oldest son and his wife and kids, we went to the zoo in
Amersfoort.
After our visit to the zoo, we had a takeaway Chinese dinner at
our son's house.

Just a nice Sunday afternoon ride, through the harbour area of Antwerp
and then East into Belgium and riding back home when it was starting to
get dark.

This Christmas, all children and grandchildren came to our house for
coffee, lemonade, cake, a movie, a little craftwork and our Christmas
dinner.

In the evening, I went to the new Star Wars movie with my sons.

The daughter of our oldest son was playing in a Christmas musical with
her school so we went there to see the musical. On our way to their
house, my wife and I stopped at a castle in Amerongen for lunch.
The restaurant was in the stables of the castle.

The Christmas musical was nice and our granddaughter was singing very
enthusiastic and we had a nice time with our son and his family.

Yesterday evening, I made an article with pictures of the
Dijkrock X-mass Party for our newssite www.regioactueel.nl .
In the previous years, I always go to the Dijkrock events to write an article
for Regioactueel (and because these are very nice events to go to)
Today I got a very nice surprise. I got a present from the Dijkrock team for
my writing and photographing of their events and I am very happy with it.

My wife her sister and her husband live in Germany and this weekend
we paid them a visit.
After a ride over the autobahn in our old Mercedes (I think the car was
feeling "at home") we came at their house, where we spend the rest
of the day. The next morning, my wife and I walked to the village
center to get fresh bread and after breakfast, my wifes sister, my wife and
I walked the dog in the fields around the village where they live.

This afternoon, the compact reflex red dot sight riflescope, that
I had ordered some time ago, arrived in the mail. I mounted it on
my forty year old air rifle and after it some calibration, it
worked fine.

I bought my air rifle forty years ago, together with my father and
now I use it together with my sons for target practice in the garden
and in our hallway.

My son Michiel and I have build a new website for a shooting club in Zeeland,
SV Scheldezicht.
The old website was not updated in the last few years so we made a nice
new website with up-to-date information.
