My old Airoh Miro crash helmet hurts on my forehead after an hour riding
so today I bought a new bright yellow 'Scorpion eXo-910 Air' helmet at
Motorservice Ossendrecht.

Today, our youngest son asked his girlfriend if she would marry him and
she said yes! He made his proposal in 'De Efteling' an amusementpark that
they both love.
Little Red Riding Hood from the fairy tale brought the ring and a fairytale
princes watched while my son went on his knees.
Now they are engaged !

April 16, 2018
Early friday morning the 14th of april, my father was taken to the
hospital and he was in very bad shape. We didn't know if he would
survive so my brother and sisters and other family members went to
the hospital.
My mother is in a nursinghome and she arrived saturday morning in a
wheelchair to see my father. A very emotional moment.
To everyones surprise, my father got a little better on sunday but
the doctors still don't know if he will survive.

This afternoon, I made an article about a churchbell that was
donated to our community by a mister Noordermeer. It was unveiled
by alderman De Waal and mister Noordermeer near nursing home
Mariahove in Ossendrecht.
While I was taking pictures of the bell, my collegue Sophia,
from newspaper De Gazet, made a picture of me.

Finally it is spring. It is a sunny day so after training at the
gym in the morning, I went for an afternoon ride on my BMW.
Over the 'Oesterdam' I went to Tholen and through St. Annaland
to Steenbergen.

At the marina of St. Annaland, I took some pictures of the BMW and
then I went past Steenbergen, Halsteren, Bergen op Zoom and Huijbergen
back home.

This Easter Sunday, we had an Easter High tea at our home. It was
organised by our daughter with the help of one of our daughters in
law and one of our sons.
