a roadmap and a tourist guide
At a bookstore in Bergen op Zoom, I bought a roadmap of the Czech Republic on
scale 1:300000. I already had a tourist guide for Prague that I bought some
time ago.

I have already planned a nice route using the "paper" map that I bought, Google,
Tomtom and Michelin maps on the internet tourist information websites and I
started building these webpages for this trip.

The GoldWing in the workshop
The GoldWing had a full service and new frontfork-seals at
Motorservice Ossendrecht and
now the bike is ready for the trip to the Czech Republic.
April 22, 2015
On April 16, my son Vincent and I went to the harbour of Antwerp to take some
pictures of me riding the GoldWing.
Halfway the photoshoot, the GoldWing did not start so we had to push-start it.
After we finished the photoshoot, we went to Motorservice Ossendrecht and found out
that the starter motor was worn-out.

I left the bike in Ossendrecht and my wife drove us home in the car and on April 22,
the bike was ready with a good second-hand starter motor installed.
April 29, 2015
Because of the bad starter motor, the battery (of unknown origin) had suffered
a lot so I bought a new battery, to avoid starting problems, during the trip to
the Czech Republic.
May 10, 2015
I want to have a good physical condition for the trip to the Czech Republic so I
try to make a long walk every day or to ride my bicycle as a workout.
Because I live in a beautiful part of the Netherlands, that is no problem. It is
nice to ride my bicycle through the forests and on the countryroads.
