Exploring the beauty of the Czech Republic
Introduction
This trip is quite different from most of my other trips because I won't do it on my
own but with a friend, Dick, who rides a BMW K1100LT.
I will be riding my GoldWing GL1200 so we will both ride big touring bikes, perfect
for a trip like this.
Route overview
This trip will go from our home town in the Netherlands, through Belgium, Luxembourg
and Germany to the Czech Republic. We will visit a lot of interesting places and try
to enjoy the backroads as much as possible. On our way back home, we will travel
through the Giant Mountains to Germany and then via Luxembourg and Belgium back to our
home town. We have planned two weeks for this trip so it is a little shorter then
my usual trips.
The Preparations
Because traveling in the EU requires no special papers, my bike only needs is regular
service and maybe some new tires, the only preparation left is planning my route and
make a list of what I don't want to miss on this trip..
