It is 30 degrees Celcius today so time for a nice ride. My wife is to Rotterdam,
to visit her mother who is, unfortunately, in the hospital so I am home alone.
I got my mesh-jacket on for some fresh air and got my BMW from the garage.
First, after leaving home, I went to Zandvliet just across the border in
Belgium to visit the car- and motorcycle-museum "Forgotten Times" at the motorcycle
shop American Legend. The have the museum and motorcycle shop that sells mostly
Harley and custom bike parts

A Budweiser Sportster
Beautiful old cars and bikes
Some JAWA's
At the shop I bought a new belt buckle and then I got on my BMW again and rode through
the container terminal area of the harbour of Antwerp. While I was riding past the
harbour, I noticed that they were loading a big container ship so I stopped to take
some pictures.
While I was taking pictures, I touched the fence. That must have triggered an alarm
because a minute later, a security guard came and told me not to take any
more pictures..........

I put my camera away and got on the bike again and through Kapelle, Kalmthout
and Wuustwezel I rode to Baarle Nassau for a cold cola.

The big churchtower in Hoogstraten in Belgium
The scenery is very nice in this area
When I arrived in Baarle Nassau, I parked the bike on the town square and
went to a cafe on the other side of the road for a nice cold cola.

Feeling refreshed by the cold drink, I got on my BMW again and went to
Breda, to OIT, a big Harley dealer, to look at the new Harley's (no, I
won't buy a Harley now, I am very happy with my BMW).
The first section of the road to Breda was a nice road in the countryside
but then I had to get on the freeway....... like thousands of other people,
on their way to their holiday destination.....
As soon as possible, I left the freeaway again.
The first section of the road to Breda was nice
The freeway was not nice with a lot of slow moving cars
Finaly, I arrived at the Harley shop. I stored my helmet in my topbox and
went inside to look at the bikes. I like the new WideGlide and the all
black Sportster.... but for now, I like my BMW more.
At the Harley shop
From Breda I went to Terheiden, North of Breda and then I went home past
Zevenbergen and Fijnaard.

A nice road
After a few hours fun and more then 180 kilometer riding, I parked the BMW
in my garage again.
